This class is SELF STUDY. It was originally written as an instructor led class, so you will find references to message boards and posting homework. Self Study courses have no instructor support and you are not required to post any homework. There is no message board, and certificates are not awarded. You will be able to download the whole course and supporting materials all at once and work at your own pace.

Photo Retouching and Restoration with Adobe Photoshop Elements

LVS OnlineThis class is all new for Photoshop Elements, and covers Photoshop Elements 6 and 7. We’ve all got them: shoeboxes of old photos waiting for us to fix them. They have cracks, they’re faded, they have mildew…in this six week course in photo restoration you will learn to fix all that and more, as well as get scanning tips for textured photos and learn to work with delicate tintypes. Join me to explore using new and old tools to learn to fix damaged photos and make them look their best. This class will get your started on your restoration journey!

Prerequisites:

This class is for both Mac and Windows users. You must have Photoshop Elements 6 or 7 installed on your Mac or PC, and you must have a good working knowledge of Photoshop Elements and your operating system. Basics classes are strongly recommended before taking this class as this class uses layers and text.

Homework can be posted to your own site, or students have the option of using the Student Upload Area or free web hosting made available for LVS students. Details are provided in the classroom.
