Adding a Horizontal Rule
It will expand to fill the available space as seen below, but this can be changed easily in the inspector. With the line selected, open the inspector. To select the horizontal line, just click on it the same as if you were selecting an image. The inspector has several line options. Open each and look them over and experiment with line width and height.
5 pixel height no shading, left justify, 50% width:
10 pixel height, shaded, center justify, 500 pixel width:

With the Basic icon active in the top section of the Object panel, click on the horizontal line icon 
in the lower half (yours will not have the red squares about them) and drag it to the page between your line of links to the lesson pages and the image you added with the link, and drop it.
