Opening Photos in Photoshop or Elements Using iPhoto 8

To set Elements or Photoshop as your default editor, open iPhoto and then open iPhoto preferences (iPhoto > Preferences). On the General page:

1. Tick the box "Edits photo" by Double-click photo.

2. Set Edit Photo to Adobe Photoshop Elements or Photoshop by clicking the arrow and choosing the appropriate application from the Applications folder.

Now when you double click a photo, it will open in Elements or Photoshop for editing.
