Transparent GIFs in Photoshop 7

If you create the image on a transparent background this won't be necessary. If you have a background color, here's how to make a transparent gif.

 

Image created on white background.

 

File > Save for Web

  • ChooseGIF
  • Choose transparency
  • Click white in the Color Table
  • Click the transparency icon
  • Click Save
