Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 3.0: A New
Version!
Part 9
Organizer (Windows)
As mentioned way back at the beginning of this review, one of
the biggest and most visible changes is that there are various
work areas in Elements now, and the fact that in the Windows version,
Adobe Photo Album 2.0 is now part of Elements 3.0 as the Organizer.
From the Organizer you can bring in photos from your camera, scanner,
hard disk, or removable drives. You can choose to copy these to
your hard drive, or if they are on a CD or DVD, leave them on the
media but still tag and catalog them and include them in all searches.

Tagging Photos
Tags make it easy to find all photos of a person, place, or thing
in a few seconds. Create custom tags and categories and even customize
the icon of the tag.

Choosing the Lake Superior tag, for example,
will show only images tagged with the Lake Superior tag. Choosing
Lake Superior and Lake Michigan will show all images with either
of those tags. Choosing Lake Superior and a person from your
people tags will find only photos with the Lake Superior tag and
the person tag both. Searches are flexible, and take seconds even
in huge photo collections.
Use Date View to find photos from a specific year, week, or even
day:

Take a
look at the Windows File Browser --->>>
